The season 2 of the popular Indian cooking show MasterChef India is dubbed MasterChef India 2. It premiered on October 22nd 2011 and aired every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm Indian time. The second season was hosted by Vikas Khanna, a renowned chef based in New York City. The judges were Vikas Khanna, Chef Kuna Kapoor and Chef Ajay Chopra. The second season of MasterChef India 2 ended on January 1st 2011 when Shipra Khanna, a 29 year old housewife and single mother won the contest. The second spot was taken by Salma Shazia Fathima, 34 year old teacher and businesswoman and the third spot went to the 25 year old martial arts trainer Joseph Rozario from siliguri.
